Happy Birthday to me :)
Yes, today is my birthday :) Can you guess how old I am? And Oooooooooooh...I love the gift I got from my wife and kids. They surprised me with a club membership to the UltimateFitness Gym. Back to working out for me...lol. Plus I got my favorite cologne, CoolWater...for post-workout ;)
And I got a small bowl made out clay from Glenn. He says its my birthday present. He always give me these little crafts from school. Its the thought that counts, right. Although, after he gave me the bowl, he asked for a PS3 game...hmmmm.

First picture with the D90
Here is the first picture from the D90. Took a couple shots of this figure, but I wanted a dark, dramatic feel to it. I thought this was the best shot. I had some light come from behind to bring the shadow to the front.
This was a gift to Glenn from his auntie Lenneth when we both were baptized.

Lost and Found
As some of you may know, we lost the Nikon D80 during our cruise back in June 2009. Lots of pictures were taken during the cruise, but...it's all gone. Well, just this past Friday night, we got another DSLR. A Nikon D90. I would've stayed with a D80 but it was discontinued so I had no choice :) I haven't had time to play with the camera but I hope to take it for a spin soon. I'll post the pictures when I do.

Buri Resort in Puerto Galera, Philippines
We haven't seen much reviews on the Buri Resort in Puerto Galera. For those who are planning to visit a resort or Buri in specific, here is our review which may help. The Buri Resort was very secluded...peaceful, clean and friendly. Overall, it was a nice place to relax and get away from the loud noise. Although, if you wanted to go into town or do activities you would have to take a boat. We, actually, decided to experience night life in Sabang which is on the other side of the island. To get there, we took a small boat at 9:00PM. The ride was kind of scary considering it was pitch dark and the waves were not easily seen.
Room: Very nice and clean. In the Villa we stayed in, the shower had a glass wall on one side. Don't worry, the other side was covered by bamboo window covering.
Food: The prices for their meals weren't too bad. The meals ranged from 300-550Php, bottled water=30Php, sodas=60Php. Portion was a bit small. I ordered a Cheeseburger with Fries and, literally, got about 5-7 pieces of fries. We counted them each time we ordered.
Service: All were great except it takes a while to get your food.
Staff: Kind and Friendly. No complaints.
PROS: Very nice and clean rooms. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff.
CONS: Last call for food was 9:00PM and alcohol at 10:00pm. Portion on the food was a bit small.

The house from the show "Gagambino".
I never thought I would be stepping in the house used in a show/movie. This gigantic house was played as Jean Garcia's house in the show "Gagambino" which belongs to Kuya Neil's Aunt and Uncle...Tita Lulu/Bapang Miling. This house had everything...Pool, Full-size Basketball Court, PingPong, Billiards and a Bahay Kubo.
